DESIGNHEURE, Mozaik

Designed by Davide Oppizzi for the french brand Designheure, Mozaik is an architectural collection that can be used to illuminate and modulate space, used either as a straightforward light fitting or as a space divider. The design is based on the idea of a shining surface that falls from above like a shower of light cutting through space. The result is luminous panels made up of a rigorous and geometric structure made from textile cord in keeping with the traditions of the company – onto which are fixed the light sources set in a precise rhythm. The panels can be customised to respond to multiple design requirements. Within the overall range, the Mozaik collection is articulated in different designs and models and as well as the panels there are single hanging models and an unusual chandelier consisting of three panels, each mesuring 90cm arranged in a triangle to form a prism of light descending from the ceiling.
