Davide Oppizzi has created Needoo for Artemide: consisting of a bollard and three different poles, this system offers perfectly controlled light that respects nature by illuminating only what is necessary. The pole includes a bird shelter at the top, made of a special material that guarantees resistance to atmospheric agents, durability, low maintenance and exceptional insulation in all seasons, and that recreates optimal conditions for the life of birds and small mammals, as well as certain species of insects.

The shelter is made of wood and printed cement without the addition of glues.
