AMETIS - Architect @ Work Wien 2016

Now in its seventh year, Boutique Design New York (BDNY) is the leading trade fair and conference for the hospitality design industry, serving the eastern United States, Canada and Europe. Presented annually by Boutique Design at NYC’s Javits Center, BDNY brings interior designers, architects, purchasing agents and hospitality owners/developers together with manufacturers and marketers of high-caliber design elements for hospitality interiors.

For two high-energy days each November, it’s the creative nexus of hospitality design—a trade fair and conference with boutique DNA and a focus on innovation, culminating with our industry’s most prestigious awards presentation, the Gold Key Awards Gala. All taking place in the cultural capital of the Americas, a perennial hotbed of development activity and design inspiration.

Designed by Davide Oppizzi and produced by GRAFF, the Ametis has won more than 5 design awards since 2012. This avant-garde project, recognizable by its fluid design and light effect will be presented at the Boutique Design New York, on the 13th and 14th of November 2016 !

The AMETIS stands out with its fluid design and spa-like halo effect. With two distinct water functions, the user can effortlessly switch between a rain and waterfall setting. Water flows gently, revitalizing the mind and indulging the body in a euphoric cleansing experience. The Ametis blends a circular shape and cutting-edge design to invigorate not only the body, but also the eye with finishes of polished chrome, architectural black™ and architectural white. Containing many high-tech engineering features, the Ametis uses a full-spectrum chromotherapy LED lighting system to add a new dimension to the ring. With a 6-color LED controller, the user can choose their mood or “chroma” and immerse themselves in a complete feeling of tranquility.
