THE CREATIVE ACT
At DCUBE, the creative act proceeds from a unique and futurist consideration, an exclusive and totally visionary savoir-faire. Each project begins with freehand research drawings. These drawings reveal the beginnings of the subject’s theme, its forms, ergonomics, requirements, productivity and the emotional feeling for its volumes. The constraint is an excellent stimulator of creativity that pushes the creator to constantly surpass himself.
Once the broad lines have been decided and the character established, a 3D modelling tool visualises the interaction between the shapes and volumes of the project, design or architecture. High precision modelling that gives way to the addition of textures and lights to enable photo-realistic images to provide the client with the best possible perception of the order’s reality.
In the final stage, the creator DCUBE produces detailed working drawings, using aesthetic and technical dimensioning which will then be submitted to the manufacturer for the production phase.
3D PRINTING
For complete mastery of form and volume, our 3D printing network is an important part of our projects. From it we derive better control of the costs of serial manufacturing. This is an example of 3D printing of an artificial palm for the Treenetic project.

Following the ART of BATH concept, launched by the company in 2016, this year GRAFF will host the breathtaking portraits created by the Viennese photographer Inge Prader and inspired to some of Klimt's masterpieces.
This beautiful setting will be the perfect mise en scène for the display of GRAFF’s new glamorous finishes: brushed gold, rose gold, bronze with a waxed or a textured effect, natural brass, brushed brass and the refined Onyx finish.

The biggest international brands such as Artemide, Audemars Piguet, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Graff, Fiam, LG, Linealight, or Designheure have commissioned him to create projects that reflect the deep link between the human being and the nature that surrounds him, the nature that constantly nourishes his inspirations. Davide Oppizzi, born of a Swiss father and an Italian mother, has been the founder and designer of DCUBE SWISS for 21 years now. His company DCUBE.SWISS is specialised in interior design and high-end architectural lighting, while Davide Oppizzi signs design collections each year. His style and philosophy, applied to design and lighting projects, draws its creativity from current themes that are meaningful, by merging subjects that are at first sight distant but which, once linked, reveal their uniqueness. Always at the service of people, his creations integrate innovative technological materials with a minimal ecological footprint and a subtle and elegant aesthetic. DCUBE has created for Lysoft Software company based in Geneva a workspace inspired by organic colors, notably the green colors of the year 2017 selected by Pantone. The grey wood walls delimitate the space while the falling plants create a relaxing outdoor atmosphere for an optimal confort of the employees of the company.

The Tesla Energy Box Concept was created in collaboration with HGLASS, a EPFL Polytechnical start-up, that produce translucent solar pannels using artificial chlorofill that generate energy to charge electric cars.

"Art of Bath Gallery" is the new artistic and emotional journey undertaken by GRAFF, an original, visual leitmotiv displayed at next Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Created by Davide Oppizzi & Tyl Vergriete in partnership with DCube Design, the GRAFF booth at the International Bathroom Exhibition is a veritable art gallery. Its visitors are invited to see, from a modern angle, classical artworks in which history, art, symbology and sensuality, past and present, mingle.
GRAFF’s artistic products definitely connect with iconic artworks in Milan. The latter are reinterpreted by Vincent Calmel, an internationally known photographer, specialized in portraying eminent, international personalities such as Monica Bellucci, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Bertrand Blier etc.

The encounter beyond trends
DCUBE, in its process of creation and development, is independent of all fashions and trends. Most important is the confidential and intimate relation between the stylist, the client and the material in hand. The desires of the client are heard and expressed through the material. DCUBE, the stylist, masters the technique, but is not dependent on it. This is a unique and original protocol that gives the company the liberty to conceive any object or project according to its feelings or sensitivity, without constraints, and ahead of the technology. The latter is no longer an end in itself, but a means to materialize any project in an unlimited fashion.

Beyond the design, this project is a message for all of us: that each square centimetre taken from biodiversity can be given back to it by a gesture of préservation, by obtaining a harmony of living man/nature. To do this, we will have to relearn and revalue what we often no longer see around us, which is just there and which suffers from our ignorance and greed, whereas the right to life is equal for all living beings. Thanks to the expertise of Artemide, Birdlife and the creator of the concept Davide Oppizzi, this professional nesting box project will be able to help many bird species preservation around the world.

The Kathleen mirror is an ode to the sunny beauty of actress Audrey Hepburn who embodies in the 60s a new aesthetic trend: slender figure, refined face, doe eyes, mischievous smile, and bright. It is these attributes that have inspired Davide Oppizzi, and that he has managed to translate in a contemporary way the use of a material like glass, thanks to the unique know-how of FIAM Italy.

ROLF & TITI authentic contemporary furniture.
Modules in solid wood, created by Davide Oppizzi, for the RTS series "Un Hôtel a la Maison". Made of oiled rough oak, these modules are manufactured from the trees intended to be eliminated or exported as judged too "impure". "Rolf & Titi", a line of simple furniture with a high ecological impact, takes its name from the famous owners of the guest house: the Bergerie in Mormont (Ju). They work as well in a local production made in Jura, with species chosen with love by Rolf Amstutz in the surrounding forests.
Available soon in several sizes. Mortise assembly, solid rough oiled wood. Its aesthetic feature is to expose the sapwood (trunk under the bark) on the front face. Authentic but not rustic !!
BULBASTIC
A set of small holders for "table lights" with screw-in LED bulbs that ressemble mushrooms. This is an indirect lighting creation. Available in four finishes: polished copper, natural wood, Carrera marble and lacquered white.
